Also known as Horton’s syndrome, cluster headaches have the ability to match the pain of a migraine. WebMD says the bursts of pain are often felt around the eyes, forehead, temples, and nose. This usually happens daily for a few weeks or months. Although the cause is not known, there are specific medications your doctor may prescribe to help ease the pain.
