"Her mother has no wrinkles, a sharp jawline, and a smooth neck, which indicates that her skin is resilient."
Studies have shown that people with darker skin tones tend to have thicker skin, and while that may be good luck, it doesn't mean you'll be impervious to the sun's UV rays: Pollution, an unhealthy diet, too much alcohol consumption, and smoking can all break down collagen in the skin, says Dr. Wu.
