Let your baby lie on his tummy on a firm and flat surface for at least 10-15 minutes a day. Tummy time is important as it helps in strengthening muscles, minimizes the time spent on their back while awake, and other physical developments. Also, carry your baby in upright positions using a baby carrier. Strict supervision is recommended while your baby is on his tummy. Avoid prolonged use of swings, prams, car seats, and rockers.
